Welcome to my new blog.  This last year has been one of the most interesting years of my life.  I recently finished my first official year of teaching, and it was a unique one.  The group of 6th grade students that my co-teacher and I had were a different group of kiddos, to say the least.  We had some funny and nasty, disgusting things come up throughout the year.  As the summer has gone on, I realized that I wanted to write them all down so other teachers could enjoy them.  Some of these stories will make you laugh, maybe cry, and possibly make you want to vomit, and I am going to include them all.  I'm hoping that this will be an ongoing blog, and I plan to add to it with the craziness that this year's new 6th graders bring to our lives.  I hope that some of you will relate with this and find comfort in knowing that your weird and awkward students are not alone!  Enjoy!
